Password reset and account unlocking

This article is to show you how to unlock your account or reset your password.

  1. 1. If you have been locked out of your account   
    1. There are two ways to unlock your account: wait 5 minutes and you will be able to attempt to log in again or contact the support team.

    2. The helpdesk team are available on (+44) 01270 531883, and on email at helpdesk@sgworld.com. They will be able to assist in unlocking your account.
  2. How to reset your password.  

    1. For your security, the Helpdesk team are unable to reset or assign new passwords. The system is self-service. 
    2. To reset your password, go to the login page on the 5D portal https://app.sgw5d.com/login. Then select the ‘Forgot password’ link underneath the green sign in button.

    3. Clicking the 'Forgotten Password' link will open a new page asking you to enter your email address. This must be the same email address that you use to login to the SGW 5D system.

    4. On submitting a reset request, you will receive an email asking you to reset your password. Select the ‘Click Here’ button.


    5. Enter your new password into both boxes. This must be the same in both boxes for the system to accept it. When done press ‘Reset’. The password has minimum requirements for it to be accepted. The requirements are: 1 capital letter, 8 characters in length, include a number and a special character such as a ‘!’ or a ‘£’.

If you did not receive the reset password email, please check your spam and your junk folders. If they are not in there, you will need to speak to your IT team as the email from no-reply@sgw5d.com may have been blocked.
