How to set up 2FA

This guide is to walk the reader through how to set up 2FA.

    1. The authenticator must be on a mobile device for you to set up 2FA.
    2. Click on your initials in the top right corner.



    3. From the list that appears below, click 2 Factor Authentication.

    4. In the middle of the page, you will now see a QR code with some text beneath. Scan the QR code while the authenticator is activated.
      1. Any mobile phone-based authenticator should work.

    5. As all authenticators are built differently but fundamentally work the same way, it will give you code that you will need to put into the textbox to activate 2FA.

    6. When you click ‘Enable’ it will automatically take you to a page to disable the 2FA. If you now log out and log back in, it will ask you for the temporary code upon signing in, after inputting your password.
