How to create a Student Absence Reason.

This guide is to walk the reader how to create a staff absence reason.

    1. To start creating student absence, use the left-hand navigation panel and click on ‘Configuration’.

    2. Then click ‘Student Absence Reasons’.

    3. This will take you into the Student Absence list. To create a new record, click the plus symbol in the top right.

    4. An overlay page will appear, which will allow you to select what type of absence reason you would like to create. The only difference between the three is that absence does not have the option to add an absence code, which is used for the MIS integration.  



    5. Put in the name of the absence reason.

    6. If you have the Wonde extension enabled and the MIS integration package, you will be able to add an attendance code.

    7. When done click ‘Submit’.
