How to create a Stage
Stages can be created by both the Visitor and the Contractor module. If you create stage in one module you will be able to use it in the other. This guide can be used in either module. Stages can be used to be displayed on workflows, which will appear on the touchscreen, or they can be used to create inductions.

- To start creating a stage, depends on which module you are in. If you are in the visitor module then you will need to use the left-hand navigation panel and then go into ‘Stages’.
- If you are in the contractor module, then you will need to use the left-hand navigation panel and click on ‘Workflow & Inductions’ and then into ‘Stages’.
- When you click ‘Stages’ you will be in the stages list, this page will display all current available stages. To start creating a stage, click the plus icon, in the top right corner.
- You will now be in the main overview of the stage itself. You will need to give the stage a name, use the left ‘Information’ box to give the stage a name.
- From the same ‘Information’ box it will give you will be able to select a type.
- There are four types, these types change what button the visitor will press to move on from the stage. The four types are:
- Accept – You will have accept and decline appear at the bottom of the stage.
- Proceed – This will have the options ‘Continue’ and ‘Cancel’ at the bottom of the stage.
- Question – this will have ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ appear at the bottom of the slide.
- Workflow Question – Will allow you add a question that you have created from the Questions section of Workflows. If you want to know how to create a question, please see this guide.
- The middle ‘Information’ box is where you will be able to put a ‘Title’ to the stage, this will appear for the visitor at the top of the stage.
- The middle information box is where the workflow objects will appear, this will give you view of the stage in a list format.
- If you want to start adding items, such as pictures and text to the stage, you will need to click the pencil icon in the top right of the middle information box.
- This page is how you add a workflow object to the stage. You have five objects you can add:
- Text – This will add a text box in which you can add your own custom text. The text box can be changed to be bold, made italic or, underlined. You will be able to change the alignment of the text too. You can change the size of the text by using the slider, marked by the capital ‘T’ symbol. The colour of the text can also be changed. The text box will appear at the bottom of the page, it is prefilled, but you can simply delete this text and add your own.
- Image – You can add your images to any stage. When you click the image object. You will have the options to change the alignment. You will also be able to change the size by using the slider. To add an image, either drag and drop a file or use the search function to navigate to file on your PC.
- Video – You can add a video to the stage. The video will need to be first uploaded to YouTube. You will have the ability to change the alignment of the video. You can choose if the video plays straight away when the visitor enters the stage or allows the visitor to skip the video. To upload a video, you will need to input the URL of the video The information symbol next to the box will show you what you require for the URL.
- Group – This will allow multiple objects to be used at the same time. For example, you could have image and text appear next to each other. You will be able to edit these independently from each other, with the same options if they were being added on their own.
- Add Question – Is how you will add a question from your already created questions. You can change the size of questions, by using the slider.
- Text – This will add a text box in which you can add your own custom text. The text box can be changed to be bold, made italic or, underlined. The text box will appear at the bottom of the page, it is prefilled, but you can simply delete this text and add your own.
- Whenever you make a change to or a add a workflow object, make sure you click the save icon in the top right of the workflow.
- When you have added all your workflow objects you need, click the ‘Close’ button at the bottom of editor.
- This will send you to the stage overview page. Make sure you click the save icon to save the slide.
