Questions are used in both the Contractors and visitor module; they can be used in either module despite being created in one module or the other. I will be creating a question in the visitor module, but these steps can be used in the contractor module.
-
- Start by clicking ‘Workflows’ on the left-hand side and opening the drop-down. If you are in the contractor module it is ‘Workflows & Inductions’, this the only difference between the modules.
- Click ‘Questions’.

- The first field is ‘Name’ and this is where you will write the question you wish to ask.
- The next Field is ‘Answer Type’, and this will determine how your question is answered. Please note that there are three types to choose from.
- The first answer type is ‘Text’, the will creation the question to be answered with a text box.
- The second is ‘List (Single Answer)’, this will allow you to create a multiple-choice question. Using the options sections you will be able to write out your own answers.
- The third is ‘List (Multiple Answer)’. This is exactly like the previous answer type but rather then have just one answer, you can multiple answers be correct. N.b. For the answer to be considered correct they will have select all the correct answers that ticked as correct.
- If you have got options created, you will be able to use the ticket box under ‘Correct Answer’ to select the right answer.
- Use the arrows to move the order of the answers.
- You can remove any unwanted answers by the bin icon.
- The final field will change depending on your answer type. If you select the text ‘Answer’ type, and you want to stop someone from skipping the questions, making it a requirement to answer the question. If it is a ‘List’ answer you can have set answers. For example, if the question is answered incorrectly, they will not be able to continue to the next one and will need to start the workflow again.
- When you are happy with the question, make sure you have check it over as you will not be able to edit the question. When done, click the green save icon in the top right corner.
