How to create a Permit Question

This guide is to walk the reader through how to create a permit question.

    1. In the Contractor module, use the left-hand navigation panel and click ‘Permit Set Up’.

    2. Then click ‘Questions’.

    3. This will take you to a list of all your permit questions. To create a new question, click the plus symbol in the top right.

    4. You will now be in the permit ‘Question Management’ screen. Starting with the ‘Information’ box, the ‘Name’ field is where you enter your question.

    5. Below the ‘Name’ field is the ‘Answer Type’ field. This dropdown has two options, which determine whether the answer will be in text format or multiple choice.

    6.  In the centre box labelled ‘Options’, the content changes depending on your selected answer type. If you choose ‘List (Single Answer)’, you can set your own answers. To do this, type your answer in the ‘Name’ field and click the green save icon.

    7. There is also a predefined list that gives you a few options to quickly create answers for your question.

    8. Review everything before saving. You will not be able to edit the question after it has been saved. To save your changes, click the green save icon in the top right of the page.
