How to create a Pass Design.
This guide walk the reader through how to create a pass design.

- From anywhere in the module, click Configuration.
- Then click ‘Pass Designs’.
- Here you will get an overview of all your current pass designs. To create a pass design, click the plus symbol in the top right. N.B. You can only create multiple visitors passes.
- A pop-up overlay will appear asking you to select a paper size. This will depend on the printer you have. They are labelled as to what printer they are for. The only one that is not for the Canon printer, this is the visitor paper pass. To select a size, click the ‘Select’ button.
- As soon as you press select, it will put into a pass preview. You can either save it if you are happy with the default by clicking the green save icon in the top right.
- You can change the pass design name, by using the ‘Name’ field.
- You can edit the pass design by clicking the pencil icon in the top right of the screen.
- An overlay will now appear allowing you to add and take things away from the pass design.
- Along the top you will be able to add various field to the pass design.
- You can add a text box; you can drag the box around by clicking and dragging on the box. You can change the colour of the text, as well as the size of the text.
- You can add shape with the options of changing the colour and the size.
- Add image will open file explorer, enabling you to add an image to the design.
- ‘Add Database field’ you can add new computed fields such as names or a visitor’s company.
- You can also clear the design; this will give you blank slate to work with.
- In the bottom left you have got a button that will overlay a grid over the pass design.
- You can show all the layers.
- You also lock an object in place, so you don’t accidentally move item while working on design.
- You can then change the order that appear if objects are overlapping each other by using the arrows.
- You can also delete an object by clicking bin icon.
- If you want to save the design, click ‘Update’ at the bottom.
- You will also need to click the green save icon, as well to full save the pass design.
