How to complete an assigned permit

This guide is to walk the reader through how access assigned permits from a job. This how you access permits if you did not use the 5D Permits app.

    1. From the contractor module, start by clicking ‘Jobs’ on the left-hand navigation panel.

    2. This will take you to a list of old and active jobs. Locate the job you want to complete a permit for; click on the name of the job or the magnifying glass to access the record.

    3. This will take you to the Job Overview page. To view the contractors linked to a job event, click the person icon located next to the recycle bin icon.

    4. A hidden section will expand, displaying all contractors that have been selected for this job event. This will give you options, of signing in the contracts, completing permits, printing a pass and deleting them from the job event.

    5. To access a permit, click the permit symbol, which is a page with pencil icon.

    6. It will open an overlay; you will be able to select what permit that contractor will be filling in. This is done by pressing the ‘Select’ button.

    7. If translations have been created for the permit, the system will ask you for what language you want the permit displayed in by flag of counties language.

    8. It will then ask you to fill in permit as per normal.
