How to attach a Visit Type to a button.  

This guide is to walk the reader through how to attach a visit type to a button on the touchscreen.

  1. You will need to edit the touchscreen; there is a guide that will show you how.  
  2. There are 4 buttons that can be assigned to a visit type, and these are the 4 additional buttons. N.B.  The visitor button is always as assigned to the ‘Visit’ Visit Type.

  3. Click on any of the 4 buttons, halfway down the centre there will be a drop-down menu labelled ‘Visit Type’.

  4. You will be able to select what visit type you want to assign to that button.

  5. There is also next to it the functionality of just adding the workflow, this will add only the workflow and no pass design. This means that there is no pass printed off when visitors uses that button.

  6. When you have assigned the button a visit type, make sure to click the ‘Submit’ button to save any changes.
