How to add a Visitor

1. Make sure you are on the Visitor module. Click the button labelled ‘Quick Add Visitor’. This will start the process of booking in a visitor.
2. This will bring up a pop-up overlay allowing you start capturing details of the visitor. The only fields that are required to be filled in are the first name and surname, this is indicated by the red asterisk as well as the red outline of the field boxes.
3. The other fields are optional, if you want to capture further details for later use.
4. Click ‘next’ when ready to continue.
5. The next page is where you add the host by using the drop-down to select a host from the staff member list.
6. You can also select what ‘Visit’ type the visitor is. The visitor type will dictate what workflow the visitor will see, as well as the pass design they will have printed off.
7. The last box is a ‘notes’ box that can be used for details about the visitor that can be shared with anyone to access to 5D system.
8. When done click ‘Next’.
9. This will take you to the final page where you sign someone in, print a pass, or if you have a webcam available you can take a picture, or one saved to your PC of the visitor can be uploaded.
10. When you click submit it will then create that record, as well as preform any of the option that you selected on the page.
