- How to access the touchscreen.
- To access the touchscreen application, click the touchscreen icon.
- This will take you to the log on page for the touchscreen application. If you know your login details, enter your touchscreen username and password here. If you don’t, please see this guide on how to reset your password.
- If you have recently set up the touchscreen and printed the QR code, you can log in using it. Click the option on the right-hand side under ‘Click below to login with a QR Code.’ This will use the touchscreen camera to scan the QR code on the printed page to log in.
- Ensure the correct location is selected in the ‘Region’ dropdown, and then click ‘Sign In’.
- The configuration page will now appear. The first section, ‘Barcode scanner’, will display your barcode scanner's communication port. You can identify the scanner as it will typically be listed as Microsoft (COM*). Please note that the number following 'COM' may vary.
- Here you can select whether to print in colour or black and white using the dropdown menu ('Yes' or 'No') to conserve colour ink if desired.
- The final section displays ‘Stored workflow stages’, indicating the number of stages currently stored locally. Here, you have the option to either remove the local stages or synchronise them. Storing stages locally can improve the touchscreen's performance.
- Once you have completed the configuration, click ‘Confirm’. This will take you to the touchscreen homepage, where visitors and contractors can sign in.
- To access the touchscreen application, click the touchscreen icon.
