5D Visitor Management - View Visitors

The following guide will show you how to navigate and use the 5D Visitor Management Section.

 

To access the “View Visitors” page click on the “Visitor Management” tab on the left of the screen and then click on “View Visitors”

The “View Visitors” page will then open and will look like the image below.

 

 

The “Visitor List” table shows a list of the Visitors that are currently active on your system.

Listed are the “Name” and “Email” of each Visitor, the “Type" of Visitor is also displayed under the Visitor name.

 

 

In the "Visitor Filters" section, you can search for a Visitor by their “Firstname” and “Surname”.

You can also search for a Visitor by their "Type" and "Status".

The “Clear Filters” button will wipe all fields and display the default view.

 

 

At the top-right of the screen, there are three buttons which you can use to "Import", "Refresh" and "Add New", these functions are explained below.

 

 

Import

If you would like to bulk import a list of Visitors, click the purple "Import" button in the top-right of the screen to begin the import process.

 

 

Once you have clicked “Import” you will be taken to the following page.

Start by clicking the purple "Download Template" button and filling in the required fields in the CSV file.

 

 

Once you have filled in the relevant information in the CSV file, click the "Choose File / Browse" button, you will then be prompted to select your completed CSV file.

 

 

Refresh

To see an updated list of Visitors, click the blue "Refresh List" button, this will then Refresh the page and show an up-to-date Visitor list.

 

 

Add New

If you would like to add a new Visitor click the green "Add New" button.

 

 

Once you have clicked “Add New” you will be taken to the following page.

You must then fill in the "Firstname" and "Surname" of the Visitor, you can also choose to add an "Email Address" and "Company" to the Visitor record, this is useful for reporting purposes.

 

 

Once you have finished creating your new Visitor click the green “Create” button on the right side of the screen, you can also cancel creation by clicking the “Back” button.

You will then be redirected to the “View Visitors” page.

 

 

Viewing a Visitor Record

To access a Visitor’s record simply click on their name in the “Name” column, you will then be taken to the following page.

You can also click on the grey "Looking Glass" to the right of the record.

Editing a Visitor Record

If you would like to edit a Visitor's record, click the grey "Pencil" next to the record.

 

 

Once you have clicked the grey “Pencil” you will be taken to the following page.

You can then change their "Firstname", "Surname", "Email Adress" and "Company".

To save any changes click the green "Update" button.

If you want to cancel any changes click the red "Cancel" button.

If you want to return to the "View Visitors" page, click the "Back" button.

 

 

Deleting a Visitor Record

If you want to remove a Visitor from your system, click the grey "Bin" next to the record, you will then be prompted to "Confirm" or "Cancel" your action.
